Found the staff to be friendly and polite. They were helpful in providing me with information and assistance during my stay. The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to local shops and attractions. It made it convenient to explore the city.

The facilities in the hotel were extremely poor. The beds were uncomfortable and the lack of air conditioning made it difficult to sleep comfortably.

The hotel met expectation. A cozy base for exploring Southport.

The staff was FRIENDLY, the room was comfortable and the location met expectations. A wide range of restaurants to eat close by, like Bella Donna that was only 15 minutes' walk away. We would go back in flash, when we stay in Southport.

Close location to Gold Coast University Hospital. Convenient location near Surfers. Clean room and comfortable bed. Good water pressure and hot shower. Good size television. Friendly owners.

Didn't dislike anything about the property.

I didn't like the security aspect - a lack of a smoke detector when there is only one exit and the bathroom door lock and front door deadlock were broken.

Close to The Australian Outback Spectacular, which is where we went that night. Great to be able to stay in comfortable quarters so close! We really liked having shower gel supplied in the shower - so much better than soap.

The location of this motel was absolutely fantastic. It was conveniently situated on the Gold Coast Highway, providing easy access to the centre of Southport and everything else in the area. The hotel facilities were great, with a spacious and clean room that had a comfortable bed and a good-sized television. The bathroom and shower were roomy and impeccably clean, with excellent pressure and hot water. I also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who made my stay even more enjoyable.

Leaving the room to go out for dinner because the room had such a bad stench in it that it actually made my daughter sick

Just about everything from the stench in the room, to the lights not working, the fridge was switched off and had milk in it, the beds only being a piece of foam not a mattress, the cobwebs and dust all over the place, not having an alarm clock in the room, had to pay extra if we wanted air conditioning, over priced Wi-fi.......these are only just a few things that we didn't like, I can certainly give more examples if needed.

The receptionist was excellent. He offered to organise our transport to the Australian Spectacular at the last minute so we didn't have to drive our car. The service that he gave us was excellent and that would make me want to go back to stay. The beds were very comfortable and the position was excellent. We definately would stay there again.

I recently stayed at a motel in a convenient location, close to popular attractions and local restaurants. The motel was just a short walk from the shopping center and the bustling center of the city. The room I stayed in was cozy and comfortable, with a clean bathroom and helpful staff. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning and even had the option of a late checkout, which was a nice treat. The views from my room were also impressive, overlooking the city skyline.

One downside was the lack of maintenance in some areas of the motel. The venetian blinds in the room were broken and in need of repair.

The room was freshly painted and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and there were nearby shops.

The motel was loud due to nearby traffic and the lack of soundproofing. The room had a musty smell and the bathroom was outdated.

I should have asked for a refund for the two nights we endured a leaking roof in the bathroom. However upon reflection we should have been offered another room. Also the room was not serviced on a daily basis, no clean towels, additional toilet paper, did not even have spoons, plates etc not good

We were attending a 60th birthday and had to assemble at Sundale bridge, Gold Coast tourist information centre gave us motels close to the location to choose from. Sundale was the first motel we contacted.

The motel is badly in need of a refurbishment especially the furniture, however the room was clean and the bed comfortable.
